Miserable old bugger
Nick Sells captures a candid moment during Saturday's football as the television cameras and a miserable looking old bugger in shorts (that's me) await the arrival of the teams onto the pitch at Olympic Stadium. I claim that the sun was in my eyes hence my scrunched up face. Others claim I'm just a miserable old sod. You decide.
It seems that an administrator from a local expat forum has already made his choice in the matter. This was a post he put up a few days ago:
Some people have a fondness for Andy 'boring' Brouwer (if there was ever a Cambodian anorak-wearing trainspotting blog then Andy would run it and he'd probably have a packed lunch of processed cheese sandwiches lovingly made by his old mum) and say that he runs the best blog in town, but my own personal blogspot fave is...
I'm instructing my lawyers as I type. I have never worn an anorak in my life but I was a trainspotter in my youth.

Crikey andy, that peter was a bit rough on you but you are no orphan there.
I have been labelled as some sort of low life criminal scum, all you got was anoraks and train spotting.
You seem to have swapped train spotting for temple spotting.
I always thought that anoraks and vespas went together and peter rides a vespa.........
I wouldn't say this blog is boring but there seems to be only 3 topics that repeat itself:
- Temples
- Football
- Steel Pulse
Personally I am not interested in any of it really yet I check your blog everyday....
Maybe I am an anorak too!
Hi,
I don't know Peter and have never met him but he seems to think he knows about me. I visit the forum in question very occasionally and was told about the post by a friend. Maybe he can check his facts first before talking about my deceased mother, who was always too busy working three jobs to make sandwiches.
James - my blog is more than the 3 topics you mention but as you read it every day then you know that already :-)
Andy
hello, Andy ! :-)
il faut laisser les gens dire ... et médire.
Andy, don't listen to the fools. Whoever wasted his time by turning you into an anorak sporting dude munching on processed cheese is most likely just battling the demons of envy. Because their blog sucks, or they can't afford an anorak. ;-) Your blog rocks!
HE'S JUST JEALOUS!!!!! Don't be bothered by him - your blog is terrific!
Yeah Andy, don't worry about him, his blog has been on the decline for a while now. Its very rarely updated anymore...
