Calm down Jack. Thanks for your concern, Now will be touched. Eric has great respect for Now's efforts as his assistant and she is not unemployed.

Now will continue her job as my assistant. And it's gonna be busy times for her, so we have to work on her condition :-)

Now is NOT up for grabs as you put it. She's still employed as Eric's photographic assistant and will be for the forseeable future.
I wish you well with your bookstore in Kep.

The bar will also be closed or just the photo gallery? Thats what your blog did not explain. If both are to be closed, I guess De Vries has lost money in the venture... By the way, are you NOWs manager?

Lennox, no, I'm not Now's manager, just a good friend.
As for the gallery/bar, its been taken over by Eric's former partner so whatever he decides to do with it, will be up to him. Maybe a bar, maybe a restaurant. We shall see.

friends have commented 4Faces left you flat broken and thats a pity, the truth is that artists are the worst businessmen there are, they don't have any talent for selling and making money --- but I wish you'll cheer up and have success in your ART, at least, things weren't so bad as people comment, since you were able to retain your gifted Khmer assistant, I wish you all the best. --- TAMARA

Thanks for your concern but it's not that bad as you describe the situation. OK, lost some money on the business but starting one comes with risks. Got more time for my photography right now and that's good. Many ideas to work on instead of sitting and drinking almost every night with regulars and their same old stories.... And I tell you, you get bored of that after a while... So I'm really possitive about leaving the place at last which gives me the freedom to open up a new gallery in a couple of months time...
