DARA REANG SEY HOTEL & RESTAURANT

The Dara Reang Sey hotel and restaurant - Phnom Penh.

This very popular Phnom Penh hotel is conveniently located on the corner of Streets 118 and 13, a block away from the old market (Psar Chas) and the bustling riverfront promenade at Sisowath Quay with its collection of Western bars and restaurants.

The hotel is a family-run concern that is a firm favourite of mine for the warm and genuine hospitality and friendliness of the owners and their staff, the quality of the food at their Khmer restaurant and their convenient location, a ten minute walk from the Royal Palace and National Museum. The hotel has 3 triple rooms, 33 double rooms and 7 single rooms all with air conditioning and 6 fan rooms, most of the rooms have a bathroom with hot water shower, cable television, mini bar and some with balcony. Prices range from US$15 to $35 per night for comfortable rooms with air-conditioning in the original building or the annexe across the road.

The hotel is managed by sisters Reangsey and Dara, who are simply two of the nicest people you'd ever wish to meet. Their extended family and staff will make your stay an enjoyable one in Phnom Penh, whilst their tour desk will be able to sort out any excursions, tickets or visas you may require. Visit their new website here.
